Protection
against short-circuiting:
Should a short-circuit occur, the DDP 1212 immediately
switches off the channel in question and then attempts to
switch it on slowly. If the short-circuit persists for three
times, DDP 1212 switches the channel off definitely.

Overload
protection:
The output is electronically limited to a maximum of 12 A per
channel, no matter what load is applied.

Protection
against incorrect connections:
Through a fuse which blows to avoid overloading damaging the
unit's internal circuity.

Over-Heating protection:
The maximum temperature allowed is 90ºC and is measured on the
cooling fin.If this temperature is exceeded, the output is
disabled until temperature return in the limits.

Forced
ventilation:
Use of the unit's fans does not in any way compromise the
possibility of using the dimmer in locations in which noise
has to be kept to a minimum (theaters), DDP 1212 uses very
low-noise fans which are silent even when operating; their
rotation speed is also electronically controlled and directly
proportional to the dimmer's internal temperature.

Power supply:
Thanks to his detail planning, the power supply of the logical
part of the DDP 1212 is taken from all the three phases.
Without presence of one of the three phases the channels
powered with the others two phases will work correctly too.
